I did an amazing 4-day trip with Team4Adventure in January 2023. I contacted them a few months before arriving in Rishikesh. I've done kayaking maybe 20 times in my life, but only flatwater, and only for a few hours at a time. After booking the trip with Team4Adventure I did have a few group lessons in my local swimming pool, mainly to get confortable with wet exits and T-rescues, although also to attempt to learn to roll independently (mostly unsuccessfully). The trip really exceeded by expectations. The trip started after we drove from Rishikesh a few hours upstream to Srinagar (Uttarakhand). The next 4 days we spent kayaking down the river. I spent some of my time in a hardshell kayak, but did the bigger rapids in a 2-person inflatable 'ducky'. Really exhilarating for a beginner like me - lots of capsizing - but I felt really well-looked-after by the team, and always had a safety kayaker looking out for me. I mostly managed to wait for T-Rescues, although if I wet-exited that was ok too. Beautiful scenery throughout, and amazing campsites on mostly-deserted riverside beaches. The food was really good too - I was expecting sandwiches etc for dinner, but instead received 3-course feasts include some BBQ, with simpler sandwiches etc for lunch. I was warned that the water would be cold in January, but it really wasn't too bad - much better than the UK anyway. The whole trip was great fun, with lots of 'off-the-beaten-track' experiences that I wouldn't usually have had as a tourist. We even rescued a rooster (see the picture) who was about to meet a watery grave, and kept it safe for the rest of the trip! Thanks for everything - was a really memorable trip!

Well, this is one for the books. The nature, surroundings, food, guides, and camp area, everything you can ask for in one package. The expedition was well-organized, the food was fantastic, the guides entertained and took good care of the safety. The river had lazy and relaxing stretches combined with exciting rapids that kept the adventure alive. From the camp area, we went for a hike to the waterfall on the historic path from the Colonial period. We also had a Yoga session by the banks of the Ganga. What more can you ask for?

I have started learning Kayaking with Team4Adventure. They are amazing in teaching and making you do the skills and runs in the river. Most importantly, I felt very safe in their supervision. I’m truly delighted by the effort they put into teaching, encouraging, and appreciating progress. The sessions are fun, lively, and extremely motivating. I would 100% recommend learning kayaking with them.

I recently completed a kayaking course with this team on my friend’s recommendation, and it was truly an amazing experience. From the very first day, the instructors made me feel comfortable, confident, and excited to learn. Their guidance was patient, clear, and tailored to each person’s pace. The owner of the setup took feedback daily and kept guiding me everyday. The equipment was top-notch, safety was taken seriously. I walked in as a beginner and walked out feeling skilled and motivated to continue kayaking. I felt safe, challenged, and totally pumped throughout the course. Ended up learning so much more than I expected. If you’re planning to try kayaking, these guys are the best you can go with.

The 4-day kayaking course with Team4Adventure was an outstanding experience! It was my first exposure to whitewater kayaking. The program was well-structured yet flexible, I had two exciting river runs, and a dedicated session to learn the roll. Their expertise, patience, and attention to safety made all the difference. Whether you're a beginner or looking to refine your technique, this course offers a good balance of challenge and excitement in waters ideal for beginners. Highly recommended!

My wife and I had a really wonderful experience with Team 4 Adventure. They had extremely professional, kind, and responsive communication as we made plans for our trip. On the river, the kayaking was amazing and our guides were very knowledgeable and funny. Our guides even brought their own GoPro and shared some footage of us kayaking at no charge without us even asking! Such a nice gesture. I really reccomend this company for kayaking! Don’t forget to ask them about their 2 person inflatable kayak option if you’re not a strong enough hard top paddler to handle the river all by yourself!
