Safety & commitment
Safety comes first, always
Every expedition sets out fully equipped to handle adverse conditions, with suitable backup plans in place before we leave the road-head.
- We encourage and properly outfit guests to venture right to the edge of every activity we run. At the same time, we recognise that not every guest is physically or psychologically suited to the harsh, unforgiving conditions of the remote outdoors, where communication and medical help are limited or absent - and we plan around that.
- All our tours and expeditions are operated by us directly, and we take complete responsibility for our guests. A trip leader from our core team oversees every external component - transport, hotels or guest houses and the like.
- All our river trips are supported by safety kayaks. Our river guides are highly experienced and hold international certifications such as the International Rafting Federation guide assessment and White Water Rescue Technician. Every river is scouted before an expedition is planned on it, and in our free time we run internal training programmes and expeditions to keep raising the team’s skill and awareness.
- A comprehensive medical kit is a vital inclusion on every expedition, alongside smaller compact kits kept within quicker reach. Our team is trained in first aid and CPR, and every member can use the medical kit effectively.

We value the time, money and effort you invest when you plan a tour with us, and we leave no stone unturned to make sure you get the most amazing experience.
Our key motto is simple: offer an experience, not a packaged tour.
- Our website is usually a guest’s first point of contact with us, so we make our first impressions honestly - complete, elaborate information about every tour, in terms of both expectations and deliverables. As the correspondence progresses we work to understand your requirements and propose only the tours that genuinely suit you.
- Every tour has its price clearly published on its page. Inclusions and exclusions define the deal exactly, leaving nothing in doubt. Prices are the same for everyone - Indian or foreign - with no hidden charges and no false projections.
- We honour every commitment we make, directly or through the website and email, and will often go out of our way - sometimes in adverse conditions - to make sure the promised deliverable is met.
- The number of guests on a tour is kept low for personalised attention and a genuinely exclusive experience, and the frequency of tours is kept low so no route or region is overdone.
- We love the outdoors and make sure none of our visits disturb or distort the natural surroundings. We follow the principles of Leave No Trace.
